A personal film about childhood, grief, memory and the fragile worlds we build around the people we love.
01 / The memory
I grew up in houses like this one, houses with their own rules, their own gods, and the feeling that they would last forever.
When my grandmother died, I felt the world shift beneath me before I was old enough to understand what was happening.

02 / The story
If Walls Could Talk explores grief through the eyes of a child.
Ten-year-old Luciole is caught between two worlds: old enough to absorb the sadness around her, still young enough to disappear into games with her cousins.
The film builds slowly, like a kettle coming to the boil, until silence can no longer contain what has happened.
03 / The audience
We want our audience to have a part in this project.
Every contribution helps carry the film from its first images toward the screen.
